Monash University Central Netball Club
(Formerly known as Melbourne Central Netball Teams)
has a short but extremely successful history in Victoria’s elite netball competition, the State League. The club was formed at the end of the 2000 season and since then has established itself as the top team in the state, winning the State League Championship Division Premiership twice and being runner-up three times since then. Another indication of the club’s strength is that it has teams in the Championship Division, Division One and Division Two Competitions.
Monash University Central draws players from all over Melbourne and has alliances with the Kingston and District and Waverley City Netball Associations, providing junior players with a pathway to State League competition.
